Morbid Tales is an ongoing film project exploring the unease, isolation and concealed darkness found within small towns and rural communities. Each instalment transforms an apparently ordinary place into a world shaped by silence, distance and the suggestion that something disturbing exists just beyond what can be seen.
The project is interested in locations that feel forgotten, suspended in time or separated from the wider world. Empty roads, ageing buildings, quiet fields and deserted public spaces become part of the storytelling, creating environments where loneliness and fear can gradually take hold. Familiar surroundings are presented from a darker perspective, revealing the unsettling possibilities hidden beneath everyday life.
