Wonderfilm’s 4-Way RED KOMODO-X VFX Array delivers wide, high-resolution VFX plates from a practical, production-ready ground rig. Four synchronised cameras capture a single stitched plate with 185.5° of coverage, and the array mounts on the DJI Ronin 2 for a lightweight setup or the MotoCrane Titan LT when you need a heavier-duty head.
The same array works on either head, so you can match the rig to the shot. The DJI Ronin 2 keeps the setup light and quick for productions that want a minimal footprint. The MotoCrane Titan LT, with its 40lb / 18kg payload, gives you a heavier-duty platform for larger configurations and more demanding ground work. Neither option costs you any features.
Every camera in the array retains full wireless multi-camera and lens control via the Teradek Bolt 6 ecosystem (operational up to 1,500ft), genlock and timecode synchronisation across all four RED KOMODO-X bodies, complete ND filtration per lens, and live wireless video transmission for real-time monitoring and playback.
Is an operator or technician included?
Yes — a Wonderfilm technician is on set for every array job, working directly with the DOP and VFX supervisor on setup, stitched deliverables, FOV calibration and virtual production application.
Can Wonderfilm stitch the plates after filming?
Yes — Wonderfilm offers full plate-stitching services in-house, post-production, in addition to live stitching review on set.
Which head should I choose, Ronin 2 or Titan LT?
The Ronin 2 is the lightweight option for a fast, minimal setup. The Titan LT is the heavier-duty option for larger configurations. Contact us to discuss your specific rig requirements and we’ll recommend the right head for your shoot.
Wonderfilm Pictures’ 3-way RED KOMODO-X full assembly VFX Array rig integrates with Teradek’s Bolt 6 wireless monitoring, lens control, & R/S 1500 ft away. This multi-camera array rig has been built bespoke by our in-house engineer, for use on aerial or ground shoots. This assembly can be used on heavy payload gimbals such as the Freefly Mōvi XL making it ideal for use on heavy-lifter drones, tracking vehicles, and many other platforms.
Every array assembly is designed and built in-house, so the configuration is matched to the job rather than the other way round. Whether the rig is going onto a gimbal, a heavy-lift drone, a tracking vehicle or a static mount, we can build or adapt an assembly to suit the payload, the platform and the shot.
Components are machined from aluminium sheet, with thickness selected for the application — lighter where every kilogram costs flight time, heavier where the rig has to take load on the ground. The standard Ronin 2 configuration sits comfortably inside the gimbal’s maximum payload, accessories included.
All our assemblies are lined with M4, 1/4″-20 and 3/8″ mounting threads for effectively unlimited mounting options, and each carries a detachable custom cheese plate at the base for additional mounting and threading.

Wonderfilm’s VFX Array utilises the power of the Teradek ecosystem with the Bolt 6 LT 1500 feet TX/RX Deluxe kit and CTRL.5 controller. This kit enables wireless multiple-lens iris/focus control, run/stop triggering, and multiple-camera video playback. Everything on the rig can be controlled or monitored remotely up to 1500 feet away.
