Canon EOS 7D Hire
Canon EOS 7D Hire – Rent from Wonderfilm Pictures
The Canon EOS 7D is a durable professional DSLR suited to photography, Full HD video and on-set VFX reference workflows. Its 18MP APS-C sensor, 14-bit RAW capture and compatibility with Canon EF and EF-S lenses make it a versatile option for HDRI, texture photography, witness stills and general production reference.
With continuous shooting at up to 8fps, the EOS 7D captures bracketed HDRI sequences quickly, helping VFX crews gather lighting reference without holding up a busy film or television set. Paired with a fisheye lens and nodal head, it covers a full environment in relatively few positions. Its 19-point cross-type autofocus, 100% coverage viewfinder and built-in electronic level make levelling and alignment between setups straightforward.
The magnesium-alloy body is dust and weather resistant, so it holds up to location work in poor conditions, and an ISO range of 100–6400 (expandable to 12,800) keeps it usable in low light. It records to UDMA CompactFlash cards and runs on Canon LP-E6 batteries.
The 7D also records Full HD video with manual exposure control, making it useful for behind-the-scenes footage, reference video and lightweight production capture.
