That reduces interference in congested RF environments while remaining compatible with traditional 5GHz signals, delivering stable transmission with no perceptible latency for focus pulling, director’s monitoring and multi-camera work. Operation extends to 1500ft, and a directional antenna array is available for extended range on tracking vehicle and long-lens work.
Lens control centres on the Teradek CTRL.5 handset, with its bright 5-inch SmallHD-powered touchscreen giving direct access to lens data overlays, calibration tools and programmable function buttons. Our FIZ packages pair the CTRL.5 with the MDR.S receiver and MOTR.S motors, delivering strong torque and fast response even with heavier cinema lenses. Three daisy-chained motors handle focus, iris and zoom simultaneously with cleaner cabling around the camera.
The compact, modular build suits gimbals, Steadicam, handheld rigs, drones and traditional tripod setups, and the whole system integrates with our VFX Array for multi-camera lens control across three synchronised bodies.
