The balls are designed as a combined reference, with 50% chrome and 50% grey. The ball can be rotated so each finish is captured by the camera.
The array is designed for a 160° field of view, with a 27.9% FOV overlap to support reliable stitching.

Yes, our equipment can be supplied internationally. Around 90% of our work is overseas, including rentals of the VFX Array rig.
The equipment is normally UK-based when not on hire. For each project, we plan the logistics so the kit can be shipped internationally.
The array package normally comes with technical supervision. We have AC relationships for managing the rig on set, and the turnkey Ronin 2 array can be handed to an operator.
We can handle post-shoot processing of the array material and create deliverables according to the VFX vendor’s specification.
Live stitching is not currently part of the package. We can provide live playback via a Teradek Bolt 6 1500, showing all camera feeds from the array without overlap.
The ZEISS 21mm CP.3 XD gives roughly 65.5° horizontal FOV and 37.5° vertical FOV on the RED KOMODO-X 6K sensor.
Yes, our ZEISS lenses, including the 21mm CP.3 XD lenses, provide extended lens data for distortion mapping and undistortion. A ZEISS/Nuke plugin workflow is also available.
