The standard VFX balls are split 50/50 between chrome and grey. The camera captures each side as the ball is turned into position.
Our array rig shoots 160° FOV, with a 27.9% overlap between views for the stitching process.

International equipment hire is possible. We regularly work abroad and can provide kit rentals worldwide, including our array rig.
Yes, we can support European shoots from the UK. The kit is stored in the UK when not in use and shipped according to the production schedule.
Yes. Technical supervision is part of the standard array package, and we can also work with ACs or hand over the turnkey Ronin 2 rig to an operator.
Yes, the captured array material can be processed by us after the shoot, with outputs created to the VFX vendor’s spec.
Real-time stitched monitoring is not currently included. Live playback is available via Teradek Bolt 6 1500, showing all array cameras without overlap.
In our array setup on RED KOMODO-X 6K, the ZEISS 21mm CP.3 XD is roughly 65.5° horizontal and 37.5° vertical.
Yes, ZEISS CP.3 XD metadata can support VFX lens workflows, including distortion mapping and undistortion of the 21mm lenses.
