The balls are not configured as separate chrome and grey spheres. Each one is half chrome and half grey so both references can be captured from the same ball.
The system provides 160° of field-of-view coverage and 27.9% FOV overlap for consistent stitching.

Yes. We support international equipment rentals and can provide the VFX Array rig for productions anywhere in the world.
The array rig is normally based in the UK when not working. For each hire, we arrange the logistics needed to ship it to the shoot location.
Yes. The Ronin 2 array is fully turnkey and can be handed over to an operator, while our standard package includes a technician to supervise the kit.
Yes. We can prepare the array material for the VFX vendor and provide the requested deliverables after the shoot.
Live stitched or overlapped monitoring is not currently provided. We do offer live playback via Teradek Bolt 6 1500, allowing all array cameras to be seen without overlap.
The angle of view is approximately 65.5° horizontal and 37.5° vertical on the RED KOMODO-X 6K sensor.
Yes. The ZEISS lens data can be used to help map distortion on the 21mm lenses and support undistortion workflows in post.

We provide VFX Array rig and VFX Ball hire across Oxfordshire including Oxford, Headington, Cowley, Abingdon, and Witney. These tools are commonly used for countryside location shoots, period dramas, and CG integration. Wireless video systems, camera kits, and grip equipment are also available to support on-location filming throughout the area, including productions based at the nearby Shinfield Studios.
