The Canon EOS R6 Mark II HDRI Kit is a complete professional package for capturing high-dynamic-range imagery, spherical panoramas and accurate on-set visual reference. It is designed for VFX supervisors, data wranglers and camera teams working across film, television, commercials, virtual production and visual effects.
HDRI photography records a wide range of exposure information from a location, allowing VFX artists to recreate the lighting, reflections and surrounding environment inside 3D and CG scenes. This helps digital objects, characters and environments integrate more naturally with live-action footage.
The Canon EOS R6 Mark II features a full-frame sensor and fast DIGIC X processor, allowing bracketed exposures to be captured and processed quickly on busy sets. Supplied with 64GB memory cards, the camera is well suited to repeated RAW exposure sequences throughout a production day.
The Sigma 8mm circular fisheye lens is connected using the included Canon RF-to-EF mount adapter, providing extremely wide coverage for efficient spherical HDRI capture. The Fanotec Nodal Ninja 5 and RD16 Rotator allow the camera to rotate precisely around its optical centre for reliable panoramic stitching.
The Manfrotto 190 tripod provides a stable base, while the included Calibrite ColorChecker and SmallRig arms support accurate colour reference and consistent documentation. The package is also suitable for 360° virtual tours, interior panoramas, architectural surveys and immersive VR content.
